Responsibilities

• design and build software for a variety of customers on a variety of projects
• participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, with emphasis on producing quality solutions within project constraints
• work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams including client stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, designers, developers, testers, and systems personnel
• share knowledge and provide assistance across projects as needed
• work to improve development processes
• write technical materials as needed

Required skills and experience

• 4-year computer science degree or equivalent
• minimum 3 years of development experience
• .NET (C#), ASP.NET
• demonstrated history of delivering completed projects
• strong software engineering skills and an understanding of development methodologies
• an understanding of the application of technology in solving business problems
• solid proficiency with Microsoft .NET and other Microsoft platforms, products, and tools
• relational database design and implementation with MS SQL Server
• strong English language skills (oral and written)

Nice-to-haves

• good sense of usability, aesthetics, and human factors
• proficiency in one or more of the following Microsoft products: Windows SharePoint Server, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, BizTalk, InfoPath, Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation
• awareness of agile modelling and lightweight development processes
• knowledge of ERP systems and message-based integration
• experience developing with Microsoft’s Patterns & Practices
